In the year 200X, a Japanese fleet made up of 3 vessels embarks on a mission to South America. Following a storm, the ship JDS Mirai finds itself separated from its escorts and transported back to 1942, heading towards the island of Midway to confront the American fleet in one of the biggest naval battles in history. The crew aboard the Mirai faces the dilemma of whether to alter the course of history by getting involved in WWII.
