The Thread Never Burned

Jo Jiwon is an ordinary college student—except for the fact that he deceives people by posing as a shaman. With his smooth talking and a few fortunate guesses, he builds a reputation as a spiritual force. Unfortunately, news travels far… all the way to Jeong Tae-oh, a superstitious mob leader who genuinely believes in such things. When Tae-oh arrives seeking assistance, Jiwon pretends to accept the task—only to attempt an immediate escape. Too bad he gets apprehended. He finds himself waking up in a dubious motel, staring down his own mortality. Thinking quickly, Jiwon exclaims: "Y-you require me as a talisman! To survive, we must… sleep together!" He is convinced that a tough guy like Tae-oh would flee at the suggestion. Instead, Tae-oh simply shrugs. "You should’ve mentioned that sooner. Is once sufficient, or do we need to do it more?"
