Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective

Although Totomaru Isshiki lacks the qualifications typically expected of a member of the Metropolitan Police Department investigative team, he is determined to solve homicides and assist individuals. He decides to seek the help of the reclusive Ron Kamonohashi, taking advice from one of his seniors. Five years prior, Ron was recognized as the most promising detective from the esteemed Detective Training Academy Blue; however, he has since faded into obscurity for reasons that remain unclear to the public.

Totomaru anticipates meeting a polished and collected individual, but instead encounters a disheveled and free-spirited weirdo. Years of isolation have transformed Ron into someone unrecognizable from his past self, and he initially refuses to listen to the detective. Yet, in a surprising turn, Ron quickly shifts gears and immerses himself in the ongoing serial murder investigation.

The real cause of Ron's withdrawal from the detective profession was not due to a lack of ambition, but rather due to circumstances beyond his control—and Totomaru may be the catalyst that allows him to reclaim his lost vocation. Together, the wide-eyed officer and the deranged detective confront every enigma that presents itself.
