Mechanized Infantries 8-Fukujin

In Kidou Ryodan Hachifukujin, the setting is a future that is in close proximity where China subdues Japan, resulting in a battle against America under the Chinese mandate. The special "luck god" armor suits called Fukujin are unbeatable against customary weaponry. The plot pursues a group of newly-enlisted Japanese soldiers in a devastated future characterized by war. Amidst the violence, war, and military subservience, there is a diverse mix of characters; an offbeat girl, a peace-loving individual, and a dominant figure with armor capable of repelling all weapons.
