Nanoka Koyanagi, a grade schooler attempting to define "happiness," explores the lives of three vastly different individuals: a self-harming girl, a woman alienated by society, and an elderly woman seeking tranquility in her final years. By examining her connections with these strangers, Nanoka endeavors to discover her own sense of purpose and belonging.
