Hajime's life as an undertaker is average and unremarkable. However, he enjoys his job and has zero reasons to grouse. Additionally, he doesn't mind being addressed as "onii-san" by Kotone Kidou, one of the nation's most celebrated actresses and his childhood friend. Although their relationship has always been slightly awkward due to their parents dying from violent deaths, Hajime never expected Kotone to commit an unexpected act that would leave Japan stunned.
