Trapped beneath a boulder, Ruca's rescue comes from a man dragging a massive blade through the dirt. Having arrived from Brazil to Niigata, she presents him with a refreshing pokan juice. The reason for his blade dragging and its connection to the transformation of the earth into a barren wasteland remains a mystery.
