This web-comic emerged after mangaka Yoichi Takahashi declared his retirement in April 2024, which led to the halting of the official serialization of Rising Sun - The Final midway through the match. He chose to continue the narrative at his own leisure through storyboard pencil sketches, which he publishes on the official Captain Tsubasa World website.
