Onoe, a reporter for a weekly magazine, finds himself paired with Kaburagi, a photographer, due to a change in the stakeout team. However, Onoe views Kaburagi as his competitor and disagrees with his reckless approach, which clashes with Onoe's moral principles. As a result, they are constantly at odds with each other.
