In the early 20th century, a tiny republic became trapped between a kingdom and an empire, each seeking to exploit the republic for their own purposes. To safeguard itself from the turmoil on both fronts, the republic established a small unit of soldiers tasked with quelling any form of revolution and dissent by any means necessary.
