The unconventional headmask clearly proves to be a mistake, but not satisfied with merely disturbing the audience, he throws the entire Sumo Association into turmoil by arrogantly proclaiming that he will exceed the legendary Futabayama's streak of 69 victories. If he fails to accomplish this, he vows to retire immediately. Harimanada's brazen comments provoke a significant backlash, as every high-ranking Yokuzuna is eager for the opportunity to take him down and disgrace him for his hubris.
